Whole Wheat Chilla

A sweet power packed variation of the maalpua minus the calories

Ingredients:

  • Whole Wheat flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ¾ cup Fennel (saunf)
  • ½ tsp Coarsely chopped Walnuts, almonds, 2tbsp

Method:

  1. Just mix together all the ingredients adding a little water to make a smooth free flowing batter.
  2. Spread the batter on a nonstick pan to make chillas of the size you like.
  3. Roll up the chillas before you put them in the tiffin box. You could give these rolls a stuffing of chopped fruits or go easy on the sugar and add some honey to it.
  4. In that case, don’t forget to carry a fruit along with you.
  5. This simple roll is rich in vitamins coming from the fruits, the nutrients are also being provided by the nuts and the goodness of milk and whole wheat.
